Simulation evaluations in fire prevention

Using modern engineering methods such as numeric calculations to determine temperature distribution in the structural component, or simulation evaluations of the formation of fire and smoke (CFD analyses) and the evacuation of buildings, we develop specific solutions for the fire prevention assessment of buildings. We do this by determining, in detail, the hazard potential resulting from temperature increases in the component and its payload, the proliferation of smoke gases and the evacuation of individuals.

To this end we conduct the following simulation evaluations when necessary:

  • Numerical analyses of temperature distribution within the structure or component
  • Room fire and smoke simulations
  • Evacuation assessments
